Doctrines of Demons!

“Well, this is just the way it is!”

“This is what I believe!”

“This is our NEW policy now!”

“How dare you say those kinds of things in this day and age!”

All of those statements reflect a “doctrine”.  A belief system that mirrors the world’s views.  What the world thinks…how the world thinks.

It’s so easy to get caught up in a WAY of thinking.  We are inundated today with – INFORMATION!  From everywhere!  All around us.

We have an information box, a library at our fingertips.

“Hey Siri!  Hey Alexa!  Tell me truth about the world.”

As a result of too much information and a disintegrating view of God before us, nature abhors a vacuum.  So…we gravitate towards the latest and brightest “hip” idea.

The only problem?  These are ideas straight from the mind of the devil!

The Bible says in II Corinthians 4:4 – …the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that we might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ.

Satan…being the temporary “god of this world” will implement, infuse HIS beliefs through media (TV, news), internet, books, as well as unbelieving rulers and politicians.

The problem is, Satan seeks to blind the eyes of ALL people – unbelievers and believers alike.  Because it is through deception he accomplishes his purposes.

What are his purposes?  Enslavement, control!

I Timothy 4:1 – But the Spirit explicitly says that in the later times some fill fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.

Our very salvation is at risk here according to this verse!  We MUST pay attention to what we believe about God, the world, and it’s belief systems.  It is essential to our very health and spiritual life that we be on guard to Satan’s doctrines.

God’s will for us is to have His Word so deeply entrenched in our soul that we recognize a lie immediately, through all the myriad of avenues available to Satan to teach his doctrine.

Remember the Word of God is the sword of the spirit, (Ephesians 6:17).

What do swords do?  They defend against all other weapons that come at us.

Why?  For the purpose of keeping us in health and safety.

Joshua 1:8 – This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you will meditate on it day and night, being CAREFUL to do according to all that is in it.

Our soul and spirit for eternity is at stake here.  Be careful not to get caught up in doctrines of demons.

How do you know if you are?

Go to the Word.

Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You, (Psalms 119:11).
